Students in junior high and senior high are part of WHS’s college preparatory program.
They cover the required coursework in each grade using textbooks, computer reading selections, videos, and other materials. Students are expected to complete classwork, homework, weekly compositions, literature selections, study for tests, and master the material presented. Students who are able to move ahead in subject areas can do so.
WHS maintains a Dual- Enrollment program with Pasco-Hernando State College. Qualified students are able to take college courses while still in high school that count both for high school and college credit. Most graduates have earned an Associate of Arts Degree as well as a high school diploma when they graduate from high school.
